Your Donation reaching the Ukraine tomorrow

In the meantime, more and more news are reaching us from Ukraine, from people who do not have food, hygiene articles, medicine and practical equipment for everyday life.  Many are fleeing to the less attacked regions of the country. Since March 3rd there has been a "HUMANITARIAN CORRIDOR" that we started together with many aid agencies and private initiatives. Thanks to our infrastructure, we are able to send your donations directly to western Ukraine within one day. Due to long-standing local relationships and the support of the government and local aid agencies, we can reach many warehouses and distribution centers throughout Ukraine within a very short time. It is particularly important to us that your donations arrive where they are most needed.

This is how how practical help can look like in four simple steps:

01 Choose your own storage/collection location

We recommend you to gather donations during the following 2 to 3 days at a location of your choosing. Depending on the amount of things to be collected, a garage or a storage room with a loading ramp is advantageous. Possibly also offer the possibility for people to drive in directly with you.

02 Pack your donations

In order to get the donations quickly and effectively across the border and into our warehouse located inside Ukraine, it is important that you pack properly. The better the boxes are prepared, the faster and easier the targeted distribution in Ukraine will be.
 

packing list:

only specific items are required, so it is important not to pack anything outside of our packing list.  There are 4 product categories (see packing list; download *click on buttons*):

- Groceries (e.g. pasta, rice, biscuits,...)

- Hygiene items (e.g. shampoo, soap, towels,..)

- Medicine (e.g. painkillers, insulin, antibiotics,...)

- Equipment (e.g. pots, camping gear, generators,…)

It is important that the objects are not mixed up with each other. That means e.g. only noodles in one box and only rice in another box.

Make sure to label the box with the content and amount of what's inside. In this way we can ensure a quick and smooth process at the border. Ultimately, your donations will reach the people, churches and organizations in Ukraine effectively and in a sustainable way.

03 Loading your truck / van

When you have collected and packed all the donations, load them into your truck or van. Please make sure that you load correctly. Secure your boxes and pallets for transport. If you pack on pallets, wrap them in foil to protect them. Here it is important not to mix the various categories of food, hygiene, medicine and equipment.

04 Departure to our central warehouse in Poland or Ukraine

It is easiest if you deliver the donations to our central warehouse in Poland, as car insurance companies are currently removing Ukraine from their insurance policies due to the war. For this reason, German freight forwarders are currently generally not able to drive to the Ukraine.  

Once your truck/van has arrived at our Polish central warehouse, Ukrainian trucks will bring the donations into Ukraine. Since the situation can change any time, we will have to stay flexible here.
